Planning a special event like a small intimate wedding, baby shower, kitchen tea, christening, birthday party or work conference?  Our 100 seating venue is magnificent with a view to die for and the huge mosaic cross on the wall always draws attention.  The venue is also ideal to offer workshops as break away areas are available. 
Oppistal is in close proximity to Johannesburg in a country style setting with horses looking out their paddocks and stables.  
You are welcome to choose your seating arrangement – U shape, Cinema style etc. This is a self-catering venue to help you stay within your budget. Venue fee includes tables, chairs and fridge.  We can assist with crockery, cutlery, table cloths and glasses.  
Shawn was struggling to find a venue for his corporate function to impress his new manager.  It was important for him to find a peaceful, quiet place where they could do strategic planning for the year ahead.  After visiting Oppistal, he also booked the venue for his mother’s 60th birthday.
For smaller groups, we have two Lapa’s available.  
Booking is essential for venue hire and no alcohol allowed on the property. Oppistal only caters for day functions.
